Voyage of Columbus
Before a captain sets sail on his ship,
Before a captain departs on his voyage,
He sets a plan that will last through the age.
He spills out the map and lay down the tracks,
the beginning of a great movement awaits.
The Days and nights quick fades away,
The ship yet still stays at bay.
His dear friend has joined arms in his quest,
Yet confidence grew less and less.
He said: “Kill that anxiety and have faith my friend!”
Captain replied: “Yes my brother its time to make mend!
We shall rise and reap the opportunities laid before us
and let not pass like a ship in the night!”
T’was months pass by and progress has seen ripen,
his days of learning has deepen.
As time is ripe to reap its harvest,
its time to gather the men and steadfast towards our very quest.
Gather the men, ship held at bay,
yet men who’s been to sea will hold to bay.
Young Bloods is scarce,
yet to find a gem among stone,
will be one to savor.
“Gather, gather the men who are braver!
Your time has come to seize the day!”
Thy captain awaits his men,
to raise from the earth and take his place.
For when the time comes, along thy captain they shall stand,
The ship will set sail when the ships crew are chosen.
The ship will then set sail.
